This policy explains what personal information Pravaah Home (“we”, “us”) collects through this
website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to follow India’s Digital
Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Enquiry forms (Contact and For Businesses pages): your name, phone or WhatsApp number,
city, and anything else you choose to add, such as email, business name, business type,
product interest, quantity and message.
- Sample requests (Request samples page): the same details, plus the delivery address
where we should courier the samples, and the designs you picked.
- Catalogue requests (“Get our latest catalogue”): your name, city and phone number. Your
phone’s WhatsApp also opens with a message to us, which you choose to send.
- WhatsApp, phone and email: the details you share when you contact us this way, including
any designs and quantities you send from your enquiry list.
- Website usage (only if you accept cookies): anonymous information such as pages visited,
device type and approximate city, to see which pages are useful. It is not used to identify
you. If you decline, these tools do not load.
Saved only on your own device
- My enquiry list: the designs, quantities and notes you save stay in your own browser on
your device. They reach us only if you press “Send list on WhatsApp” or request samples. You
can clear the list at any time with “Clear list”.
- Your cookie choice: remembered in your browser so we don’t ask again.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, share quotes, catalogues and product details, courier the
samples you asked for, and follow up about that enquiry. We do not sell or rent your
information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who else handles it
- Our website and form host (Netlify), which stores form submissions for us.
- Courier partners, who receive your name, phone and address only to deliver samples.
- WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there; WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies.
- Google Maps on the Contact page and YouTube videos in our Journal load only when you
press to show them; their own privacy policies apply to that content.
- Government authorities, only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry, sample and catalogue details are kept for up to 2 years after our last conversation,
so we can help with repeat orders, and then deleted. If you become a customer, billing records
are kept for as long as tax laws require.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- see the personal details we hold about you,
- correct or update them,
- delete them (unless the law requires us to keep them),
- stop contacting you.
You can also withdraw a permission you gave earlier. Contact us using the details below; we
reply within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the
Data Protection Board of India.
Keeping it safe
Our website uses a secure (https) connection, and only the people who handle enquiries can see
your details.
Changes to this policy
When we start selling online, or change what we collect, we will update this page. The date at
the top shows the latest version.
